KANSAS CITY, MO – January 11, 2019. Five members of the Genesis Systems’ team participated in the 16th Annual Energy and Clean Technology Venture Forum at Rice University in Houston, TX on September 12 and 13, 2018. This event was the largest energy and clean technology venture capital conference in the Southwest and drew between 500 and 600 participants. The conference included industry luminary speakers, investors, and promising startups from throughout the U.S. and beyond.
Nine potential investment parties requested one-on-one meetings with Genesis Systems, and Genesis was chosen to give a four-minute pitch, which board member Martin Ford presented flawlessly.
Co-Founder and Board of Director Shannon Stuckenberg commented, “Rice University provided Genesis Systems LLC wide exposure to more than 40 global companies including some of the largest in the world; at least a dozen companies expressed interest in our solutions as the global water situation is spiraling with few solutions on the horizon - all agree we are the company to watch in the global water sector!”
Board of Director Phil Sumrall also said, ““This conference offered a rare opportunity for a variety of technology offerors to interact with potential users and investors. I was delighted to see how among this diverse set of participating companies there was a recognition of the potential value of Atmospheric Water Generation technology that Genesis Systems brings to the table.”
